How to Create a Soccer Website
SBI! Review
´
Hi everybody,
So many people now have their own blog or website- it’s almost rare not to have one! In case you haven’t created one yet, and are looking for a way to fuel your passion for soccer, today I’m going to show you just how to create a soccer website : a static website that works. Hopefully I’ll be able to give you some very helpful, practical tips in this area, some useful resources and a fair review of a service I have used a lot myself. Many people have websites, but it is very hard to make them work. Before moving on, be sure that you really want to create your own soccer website.
´
Step 1: Get Your Planning Process Right
´
First thing’s first: you need to decide what your soccer website is going to be about. It could be a soccer article database, a supporters’ website for your favourite club, a coaching site for beginners, a resource for other coaches, a site for the web’s best soccer humour or even an online soccer store for example. Whatever theme or angle you want to take, your website will likely depend on having lots of written content relevant to that niche. Plan what articles you will write in advance so you know where you’re going. The more articles you write, that are targeted around what people are searching for on Google, the more likely it is that your site will get found. The key for a static content website, then, is to plan well and write quality articles that are based around a popular search term. A great tool to see what’s popular in soccer is to go to: https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/KeywordToolExternal. It shows you an estimate for the number of times different soccer keywords are searched e.g. soccer formations or soccer ball.
Try also to learn from, not copy, other soccer websites created using SBI!. One such site is called Soccer Fans Info, and another is Soccer Training Guide. Take a look and see their success for yourself. Incoporate research into your planning process.
´
Step 2: Find a Webhost, Create a Website
´
There are so many webhosts out there to choose from, but many of them will give you poor service and a poor quality product. One of the various webhosts I have used is called Site Build It! (or SBI!). What makes their hosting special is that you get a huge mass of resources which train you in how to create a website before they even give you a website. What’s more, in addition to giving you all the simple site building tools you need, they’ll help you get traffic to your website so that it isn’t just you reading it. Their system is not perfect, I will be fair, but it is a great learning tool for beginners so a good option if this is your first website. You can create a content site on any topic…other SBI! owners have already enjoyed success with their own soccer websites.
My advice for step 2, then, is simply to choose SBI! as your webhost and follow their instructions from there. They’ll give you a 10 day action guide to get you started- this takes you through everything you’ll need to know. It isn’t just webhosting they’re giving you, it’s a hell of a lot of information and knowledge. They also give you all the tools you’ll need like a keyword brainstorming tool for research. These are all good things about SBI!, so now I’d like to point out 3 bad things I have observed in my own experience with them.
- Their website templates aren’t the best looking
- Their hosting package is quite expensive at $299 per year
- Even with their help, it’s still hard to make your site succeed
It’s up to you to set the positives against the negatives to decide whether you want to start a soccer website and whether you want to do it with SBI! Like anything they have both strengths and weaknesses. Still they offer you much more than any other webhost out there, just don’t expect miracles. These positives and negatives are all practical things. SBI! does give you all the tools you need to succeed, but it just takes a lot of effort and commitment on your part to make any site succeed- particularly one in the competitive area of soccer.
KEY UPDATE: SBI! introduced new monthly payment plan to make their hosting package more affordable.
´
Step 3: Be Inspired by Soccer and Success!
´
If the main factor in creating a succesful soccer website is your own persistence and passion, then, perhaps the inspiration side of things is even more important than the practical steps you need to take. I have learned that the SBI! action guide teaches you what you need to know, but they also inspire your success and have proof of results. They encourage you not just to run your site for the sake of interest, but for the sake of monetizing your knowledge and creating a small, sustainable online business out of your website.
Take a few moments to watch this TV info and see if their service is right for you. It will quickly become obvious that they offer far more than a webhosting package. Lots of SBI! owners have made a lot of money from their websites. Just remember, though, success is harder than it looks.

Step 4: Review Things
´
My Rating: * * * *
Bad Things: It’s expensive. Can you handle the price? Also, you could probably get a better-looking site elswhere.
Good Things: They teach you, they host you, they help you. It’s an all in one educational, hosting and marketing platform for beginners. Designed to help you fuel your passion and make money.
KEY UPDATE: SBI! introduced new monthly payment plan to make their hosting package more affordable.
Who For: Beginners at building websites and web businesses and, in our case, who simply love soccer!
FINAL ASSESSMENT: If you want to learn how to create a soccer website, then SBI! will show you how. It will cost money, though, and it will not make your site an instant success… only you can do that.
WHAT NOW: Click Here to Visit Site Build It! and Decide for Yourself.

Have fun,

I agree! The more posts you write, the more chances you have to be found. It will not only give you more points of entry, but will also give your site a leg up with Google, as they have outwardly stated that they favor larger, more established websites.
Too true! Thanks for sharing your thoughts Andy, and I’ll also say again that all this content should be targeted to the appropriate soccer keywords when creating a site.
Excellent post as always, thanks for writing such informative content on a regular basis.
Well…I try! I’m glad you liked it, and thank you for the kind feedback
